Nicole Bratton,
Law Clerk
Nicole graduated from Lewis University sigma cum laude with two bachelor’s degrees in
Political Science and Spanish Language & Culture. Upon graduation, Nicole moved to
Chicago to attend DePaul University College of Law, where she is currently obtaining her
Juris Doctor.
In law school, Nicole is Vice President of the Latino Law Student Association, member of
the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois, and a Teaching Assistant for legal writing
and research courses. Nicole is a Dean’s List recipient and CALI Excellence Award winner
in Constitutional Law. Nicole is also a member of DePaul Law’s Appellate Moot Court
Society where she was a semifinalist in the 2023 William J. Bauer Moot Court Competition
and is currently on the Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Team.
Nicole began clerking at James Gay Law after her first year of law school and since then
has been committed to delivering high-quality work and supporting the firm in achieving
successful outcomes. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys working out, going on walks, and
spending time with her friends and family.
